Terms and Conditions for Cosplay Masquerade 2025

USE OF TICKET MEANS THAT THE ATTENDEE IS BOUND BY ALL EVENT ORGANISER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By participating in the Cosplay Masquerade 2025 (the “Event”), you agree to comply with the following terms and
conditions. Please read them carefully before registering or attending.
- Event Participation
1.1 The Event is open to all cosplayers aged 13 and above. Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian’s consent
to attend.
1.2 All attendees (participants and spectators) must purchase a valid admission ticket to enter.
1.3 DPS Photography Studio reserves the right to deny entry or remove any participant for violating these terms or
engaging in disruptive behaviour. - Cosplay Guidelines
2.1 All costumes must adhere to PG-13 standards. Explicit, offensive, or overly revealing outfits are prohibited.
2.2 Weapons & Props Policy:
No real firearms, sharp objects, or dangerous items are allowed.
Prop weapons must be peace-bonded (clearly marked as non-functional).
Security may inspect props at any time.
2.3 Costumes must not obstruct walkways or pose safety hazards (e.g., excessive size, tripping risks). - Code of Conduct
3.1 Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to:
Unwanted physical contact.
Offensive language or gestures.
Stalking or intimidation.
3.2 Respect personal space and consent before taking photos/videos of others.
3.3 Follow all instructions from Event staff and venue security. - Photography & Media Rights
4.1 By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed by DPS Photography Studio and its official partners for
promotional use (social media, websites, etc.).
4.2 Attendee Photography Rules:
Personal photos/videos are allowed but must respect others’ privacy. Do not photograph anyone without their verbal
consent.
No professional photo shoot setups within the event venue or around the entrance of the event venue (tripods, lighting setups,
prolonged posing) unless approved by event staff.
Do not block walkways, stages, or high-traffic areas for photos. Staff may disband gatherings that disrupt flow.
4.3 Media Exclusivity:
Commercial photography/videography (e.g., monetised content, press) requires prior written permission from DPS
Photography Studio.
Violators may be asked to delete footage or leave the Event. - Refund Policy
5.1 Full Refund: Available if cancellation is requested more than 30 days before the Event.
5.2 Partial Refund (Minus 5% Processing Fee): Available if cancellation is requested 15–30 days before the Event.
5.3 Partial Refund (Minus $25 Invitation costs): Available if cancellation is requested 1–14 days before the Event.
5.4 No Refund: Cancellations on the Event day or no-shows are 100% non-refundable.
5.5 Refund requests must be submitted via email to dpsphotographystudio@gmail.com with proof of purchase. - Liability & Safety
6.1 Participants are responsible for their belongings. DPS Photography Studio is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged
items.
6.2 Attend with caution—costumes should not impede vision or movement.
6.3 In case of emergencies, follow staff directions for evacuation or assistance. - Prizes & Judging
7.1 Judges’ decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
7.2 Prizes are non-transferable and may be subject to additional terms. - Cancellation & Changes by Organisers
8.1 DPS Photography Studio reserves the right to:
Modify Event schedules, rules, or activities.
Cancel the Event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, safety concerns).
8.2 If the Event is cancelled by organisers, full refunds will be issued to all ticket holders. - Agreement
By participating, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. Violations may result in removal
